Sweet Wild Smoke Chicken Drumsticks

For the Chicken

  • BBQ Sauce

    2 Tbsp Spurzile’s Sweet Wild Smoke Butter

    ½ tsp black pepper

    Brown Sugar

    12 Chicken Drumsticks

Make the Dish

  1. Preheat oven to 350*F.
  2. Soak chicken in a bowl of water with lemon juice for about 10 minutes.
  3. Remove chicken.
  4. Heat a skillet on medium-high heat on the stove.
  5. Melt butter in the pan.
  6. Place chicken in the pan.
  7. Cook drumsticks in the butter, basting them with the butter, while the chicken is cooked a light brown. Flip chicken and repeat the process.
  8. After the chicken is browned, place chicken in a 9×13 glass dish. Smother the chicken with BBQ sauce. Sprinkle brown sugar and pepper over the top.
  9. Cook in the oven for 20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  10. Enjoy!

You can use any type of chicken, we just prefer the drumsticks because it soaks up the flavor just right. Also, you can use any flavor or brand of Barbecue sauce, we personally love “Sweet Baby Rays: Honey Barbecue”.
