Roasted Whole Chicken

For the Chicken

    • 1 whole chicken
    • ¼ cup Lemon juice
    • 2 Tbsp Sea Salt
    • Spurzile’s Sweet Wild Smoke Butter

Preparing the Chicken

  1. Preheat oven to 350*F.
  2. Take whole chicken out of package, place in a bowl. Cover with water, add lemon juice and salt to bowl. Let sit for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Drain and rinse off chicken. Pat dry with paper towels
  4. Place chicken in a greased roasting pan.
  5. Cover the inside and whole outside, getting under the skin, with Sweet Wild Smoke Butter.
  6. Cover with foil. Place in oven. Cook for 1 hour, or until internal temp is 160*F.
  7. Uncover, and let cook for 10-15 minutes, until the top is a slightly golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven. Let sit for 10 minutes. Slice and serve with your favorite side dish.

This is so good and easy. Serve with your favorite starch and veggie.
