Creamy Tomato Pasta with Jerk Butter

This is a creamy sauce that mimics fettuccine Alfredo, but is a tomato base instead. And it is creamy, and full of flavor, and you’ll want to keep coming back for more.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. Fettucini noodles

    2 Tbsp Olive Oil

    2 Tbsp Spurzile’s Jerk Butter

    1 medium onion, finely chopped

    4 garlic cloves, minced

2 15-oz cans of tomato sauce

    1 cup heavy cream

    ½ cup Parmesan cheese

Make the Meal

1
  1. Cook the Fettuccini noodles until done, according to the package directions. Set aside.
  2. Place a pan over medium heat, add the olive oil and butter, allow the butter to melt.
  3. Place the chopped onion and garlic in the pan and allow to cook until the onion is translucent, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Pour into the tomato sauce.
  5. Stir the sauce around until heated through.
  6. Add the heavy cream and stir in the parmesan.
  7. Add in the cooked pasta and toss around until the pasta is drenched in the sauce.
  8. Continue to cook until heated through. Add more Parmesan as desired.
  9. Serve warm with your favorite side dish.

This can be made with any type of pasta you desire, but our personal favorite is Fettuccini as the thick noodle allows for the heavy sauce to mix very well with the noodles! Serve with Garlic bread and your favorite vegetable.
